Our Favorites from 2014

Posted by Tara

Last year I did a recap of our most popular posts from the year. This year I thought I would share our FAVORITES! Here are the posts that Devin and I enjoyed making and creating this year! Lets get started!

Tara's Picks:

Chewy Wheatie Cookies

These cookies are so good! This recipe was given to me by a good family friend and it's now a favorite! If you like chewy cookies, then these are for you.

DIY Gallery Wall

My wall desperately needed an update. This post was one of my favorites because I just love how it turned out! Every time I walk by it, it reminds me of how much work went into it.

Rustic Candy Corn String Art

Now this project was fun! There is something about playing with string and nails that makes me feel like a kid. This Candy Corn String Art was a huge hit and I can't wait to do another.

Caramel Corn

Another great recipe! If you can't tell by now, I love to cook. My best friend used to make this caramel corn, and I swear it's the best! Be sure to take a look at this one.

DIY Mirror Window

I feel like my Mirror Window was my biggest DIY project in 2014. This is a great tutorial for fixing up an old mirror. I love what it adds to my entry way, such a great piece!

Devin's Picks:

DIY Deer Art

This was such a fun DIY project for this year. If you don't have a Cricut or Silhouette then this project is for you! You can make it for Christmas decor or more neutral to hang in your home year round.

Top 5 Ways My iPhone Keeps Me Organized

This is still one of Devin's favorites. Everyone relies on their phones these days, but is it keeping you organized? She shares all the best features and apps to help you out!

Crock Pot Corned Beef

This recipe was in our Top 5 posts of this year and went pretty crazy on Pinterest. It is delicious and perfect for that St. Patrick's Day meal for the family. This crockpot Corned Beef and Cabbage is one you will want to save for March!

25 Truths About Boys

If there is anything Devin and I know a little bit about, it's boys. We have 8 boys (yes 8) between the two of us! This is fun post that every "boy mom" can relate to.

Vintage Flash Card Printable

Devin made these little printable cards to attach to snacks for her son's Preschool class and we just love how they turned out! Nothing like learning your letter's while your having your snack, right?

Thanks for stopping by to check out our favorite posts! Hopefully you enjoyed the recap and caught up on something you may have missed this year!
