Smokey and Sweet Kabobs with the Miracle Grill Mat

Posted by Tara

I love to cook. I would guess that 80 percent of my favorite meals to cook are grilling recipes, so today I am sharing my favorite go-to grilling meal. Kabobs are easy and also kid friendly. I usually chop all my produce and meat earlier in the day and when dinner time rolls around I skewer them and throw it on the grill. Easy!
I used my new Miracle Grill Mat today while cooking my kabobs. What is that you ask?  It's a one hundred percent non-stick mat that makes for perfect grilling every time with no clean up.

I first got my kabobs all ready to grill. I lightly season my steak with kosher salt and pepper before skewering.

I put my Miracle Grill Mats side by side on my grill and they fit perfectly. I waited a few minutes for the grill to heat up the mats. Then I put all my skewers on top. They cooked quickly and if any of my veggies fell off, it would just stay on the mat instead of falling through the grates. I loved that. I feel like a lot of times as the veggies shrink from cooking, they slip off.

After the kabobs cook, apply some Smokey and Sweet Sauce. I used 1/2 a bottle of Guy Fieri's Kansas City Smokey and Sweet and added 3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice. The orange juice adds some tangy-ness that I love!

I let the sauce cook for just a few seconds on the kabobs. I let them cool and then we DIG IN. These are always a hit at my house!

Today I am sharing a giveaway on these awesome mats! Barbecue season is starting and Father's Day is just around the corner. These would make awesome gifts for Dad or for anyone that loves grilling! You had me at no clean up! We put tons of sauce on our meat. This would be perfect for that!

My husband loves to grill. With this I'd be able to do it too! And make everything out there!!! I make avocado burger, this would be great to do it on.

Ha ha! I love this! I have never actually grilled, I leave it all to Jon because it seems like too much work. With this I'd definitely give it a try! Such a great idea. And I know Jon would love the easy clean-up part of this!
