Am I the only person that likes to wear pink and red during the month of February? Of course those are the traditional colors for Valentine's Day, but I don't really know if wearing them is a thing or if it's just me. Either way, I couldn't pass off the opportunity to wear this pretty pink polka dot (say that five times fast) sweater for this week's fashion post.
It's such a fun shade of pink, almost bordering on coral. And I love that the polka dots have a gold tone to them instead of the traditional white.
I paired the sweater with some boot cut khaki pants, a button down denim shirt, and one of my favorite pair of heels. I thought the neutral base really allowed the sweater to pop.
I wasn't completely sure about the cut of this sweater at first. I was expecting it to be a bit more fitted, but instead it is loose and flowy. After wearing it for awhile, though, I decided that I really like the more slouchy, casual look. And it's super comfortable.
And what's your say on boot cut pants? I have been sticking to skinnies most of the time lately, but I still love a great pair of wide-ankle pants. I just don't think they will ever go completely out of style.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you find something bright and fun to wear this Valentine's Day!
